- About Me:
- First of all, I am very excited to be one of the hosts of "Introductions".
Now I will tell you all a bit about myself. I grew up in Boulder, Colorado (right at the base of the Rocky Mountains), and I moved to Chicago at the beginning of last year to attend University of Chicago. I am studying Psychology and Music, so I am particularly interested in how music affects people.
Since the beginning of college, I have hosted a classical radio show on my university's radio station, WHPK. I also play in my school's symphony in the violin section, as well as my string quartet. My favorite quartet to play is Shostakovich's Quartet no. 8.
What else? Other than playing violin, doing radio stuff, and being a student, I love to do yoga, jam, play my mandolin, be outside, listen to music, write, spend time with friends and family, and I also work in a psychology lab. I like to stay busy!

Still Excited!
I've still got the buzz from Saturday's show! It was so exciting to host the world premiere of Introductions featuring such an incredible musician as Molly May Manarchy. The combination of listening to such high quality music and actually learning about the person behind that music was truly a remarkable experience.
