Today on Introductions our guest was 17 year old violinist Tylee Lin of Lake Forest High School and also the concertmaster of the Midwest Young Artists Symphony Orchestra in Highwood (Tylee won the MYA Walgreens National Concerto Competition last year and performed Saint-Saens with the orchestra!). We heard him in music by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and more...and also heard why his loves for both hip-hop (Nelly!) and classical music are not mutually exclusive.
Tylee performed with pianist Tatyana Stepanova.
