This was an amazing concert! Kevin Hu played the Shostakovich concerto with such power. had me at the edge of my seat. While the was it times whimsical in in its light melodies, but then bold and emotional. The Stravinsky at the end was quite delightful as well, because one gets to see his unconventional use of the orchestra bringing it alive with the sounds we hear everyday.
