This past Saturday Introductions featured the Chicago Youth Symphony in part one of a two-part series with the ensemble. The show was a lot of fun and we were able to hear from many of the musicians as well as from conductor and music director Allen Tinkham. He imparted some pretty great (and quirky) words of wisdom on the show, so be sure to listen closely. The orchestra performed Ravel's Daphnis and Chloe and Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major featuring Ha-Young Kim.
