It's pledge time at WFMT

Today we're having a special pledge-drive edition of Introductions. As many of you may know, WFMT 98.7 is a public radio station, and that means that all of the programs and operations at the station rely on support from our listeners. Right now our June pledge drive is in full swing and during the Introductions hour we will be offering some special thank you gifts for anyone who pledges their support. For example, all pledges recieved this hour (at any amount) will recieve a special edition WFMT ring tone featuring the voice of WFMT's Kerry Frumkin. Cool huh? Also, any students that pledge during the introductions hour will join our Introductions Hall of Fame and will be featured on our website. Also, you can encourage your parents to pledge $100 during this hour and recieve a $10 itunes gift card. We're also giving away these crazy bobble-heads of composers (check out that picture), so ask about those when you call. Why pledge my hard earned money, you ask? Well, as you know, Introductions is WFMT's newest program and it has provided some much-needed exposure to the talented young musicians and the quality music education programs here in the Chicagoland area. If you listen to Introductions, and enjoy the program, it is important that you pledge your support. In addition to warming our hearts and spreadin' the love, as one would say, your support ensures the longevity of programs like Introductions and is the life-blood of everything that goes on here at WFMT.
