Last night I played the Vanhal Double Bass Concerto in C major with my school orchestra, the Glenbrook Symphony Orchestra (I did it in orchestra tuning so that I could use my extension for the latter part of the program, Beethoven 6. anyway, great job wednesday night!!!!
Since you just performed a concerto w/ your orchestra, would you be willing to write a blog post on what it was like? talk a little about your "rituals" before hand, how you chose the piece, what you liked most about it, and maybe also how the piece is different to you now that you've performed it. Was this your first concerto? if you have any photos that would be great, too. I'm looking forward to hearing the audio soon.
