Hey, Thanks so much for coming to Merit and giving our orchestra, as well as the various ensembles, the opportunity to play for all to hear. It was a great experience, and it sounds pretty good too!

I heard that OPRF's orchestra was featured on introductions today, June 20. I missed it; is there any way i could listen to a recording on the website or something?

There are a huge number of events listed here:

http://www.cso.org/res/pdf/civicmusicians/CSO_YouthBook.pdf

and they are not on your Introductions calendar. I don't know if you want them there or not. ?

Hi David, Great show on IMEA District Festival. Just wanted to let you know Julia Belsky was in the choir and found out yesterday that she will be performing in the IMEA All State Honors Choir in Peoria this January. Thanks for your support of high school musicians.

David,

Since I work on Saturday mornings (ahh, the "glamorous" world of retail), I am unable to listen to Introductions at the the time that it airs. Are the programs archived on the WFMT website for future download and/or streaming MP3 listening?

Thank you very much,

Steve Marcus

I'd be happy to! I'll also tell the other soloists to get on this site as well.

David:

The head of the Music Department at the Lab School, Brad Brickner, sent an email to me and several other music students asking us to submit audition materials. He gave us the link in his email. I gave Brad my audition CD and solo application today, but I don't know when he will send it in to you. It has The Bee on it since that is what I played at Lab Recital Night on March 4.
